Hammer von von HALDER
Based on 75 years of experience, Halder has established a clear motto: "Precision Made in Germany." The first product was the patented soft-faced hammer, which is still produced and sold today. Today, Halder is a leading company in the fields of standard parts and tools, workpiece clamping, and soft hammers. Products for the aerospace industry are also developed by Erwin Halder KG. The company stands for high precision and flexibility in production processes and strives every day to meet these standards on an international level. By using modern machines in an efficient production process, Halder manufactures durable products of the highest quality.
The classic "Simplex soft-faced hammer," patented in 1938 by company founder Erwin Halder, remains part of the company's product range to this day. It is a typical sledgehammer used for various applications ranging from indoor to landscaping construction. Due to its extremely robust and resilient design, the hammer continues to enjoy great popularity among users. Halder also offers matching accessories for each hammer, such as the right handle, insert, and housing. The handle is typically made of fiberglass or wood and is therefore highly wear-resistant. The housing materials are predominantly malleable cast iron and aluminum. For the inserts, there are various materials available such as nylon, TPE, or plastic. The use of different materials ensures optimal processing of various workpieces, allowing Halder to offer the ideal product for every application. Halder’s range of soft-faced hammers includes two product lines: the Simplex and the Baseplex. Halder has always been a very innovative company, so it's no surprise that the development of soft-faced hammers led to the creation of an entirely new product category.
