RENZ
For over 90 years, Erwin Renz Metallwarenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG has established itself as a market leader in the German and European mailbox industry. Mailboxes from Renz stand out not only in terms of design but also in functionality and manufacturing quality, clearly setting the company apart from its competitors. The company's ongoing growth and development reinforce its leading position and enable thorough market analysis. Continuous innovations are based on these analyses, with a strong focus on customer needs and expectations. The wide product range allows for customized solutions for both single-family and multi-family homes. New trends are quickly identified – for instance, Renz was quick to react to the growing online shopping market by offering modern parcel boxes that allow for delivery even in the recipient’s absence.
Founded in 1925 by Erwin Renz in Kirchberg an der Murr, the family-run company is now in its third generation and benefits from the long-standing experience of its employees. This expertise is complemented by the use of cutting-edge production technologies. In 2004, under the guidance of Hitoshi Takeda, a globally recognized lean specialist, the company introduced the Renz Synchronous Organization (RSO). This new production system significantly reduced production times and inventory levels, leading to increased productivity and improved product quality.
To this day, the traditional Swabian company remains headquartered at its founding location. In Germany alone, Renz has more than 25,000 square meters of production space and employs around 460 people. In 2004, Martin Renz passed on management to his son Armin, who continued expanding the Renz Group in Germany and across Europe.
The Renz Group, made up of four strong brands, currently consists of nine companies. With 750 employees across five factories, the group produces mailbox systems for the entire European market.
