META
META Regalbau is a medium-sized company based in Arnsberg (Sauerland), firmly rooted in the region. In 1896, Caspar Schnetler and Augustus Linneborn founded a nail factory, which was later expanded with its own cold rolling mill. In 1963, the company began producing steel shelving in a modular system for both private and commercial use.
In 1969, the company acquired a new headquarters in the Große Wiese industrial area. META became META-Regalbau GmbH & Co KG. In the new 5,000 m² production hall, more efficient methods for manufacturing steel shelving were introduced. The Austrian subsidiary founded in Graz in 1972 quickly became the market leader in Austria for household shelving systems.
In 1986, Joachim Loh took over the company. Today, META is part of the Joachim Loh Group. Entrepreneur Loh transformed META into a manufacturer of professional storage technology and immediately invested in modern production facilities. In 2000, the new Arnsberg office building was converted into a full-fledged administrative center with a multimedia exhibition hall and training rooms. The average length of service is over ten years, which contributes to a particularly high level of expertise across all departments. Excellent working conditions and comprehensive training and development programs for employees ensure META's extensive knowledge in shelving systems.
