HELIOS-PREISSER stands for high-quality hand measuring technology and in-house manufacturing in Germany. More than 75 years ago, Preisser was founded as a craft business by toolmakers Albert Barth and Erich Preisser. From the very beginning, the company has been producing precision mechanical measuring instruments with the highest accuracy and care. These instruments are mainly used in industry, medicine, dentistry, and skilled trades, and are highly valued for their precision and durability.

Since its foundation, the company has continuously developed its product portfolio and adapted it to the needs of various customers. Today, HELIOS-PREISSER employs more than 120 people at two production sites. With its "Made in Germany" measuring instruments, the company is one of the largest suppliers of hand measuring tools at home and abroad. HELIOS-PREISSER is now one of the leading manufacturers of measuring devices in Europe. The wide and deep product range, high product quality, and many years of experience make HELIOS-PREISSER the ideal partner for all aspects of high-precision manual measurements.

Under the Preisser umbrella, three brands have merged. Helios-Preisser products are used in production technology and quality control, i.e., in industrial manufacturing. Horex measuring instruments are designed for the trades and education, while digital measuring devices are produced under the Digi-Met brand. Digi-Met is a completely new generation of measuring tools that can be used for faster, more accurate, and more reliable measurements. With the Digi-Met brand, Preisser has launched the latest generation of measuring instruments. Devices in this series feature a variable RS 232 data output, allowing users to capture and document measurement data. An innovation is the waterproof version, resistant to dust and coolant. This generation is complemented by a linear digital measuring system that can be mounted on machine tools, enabling digital measurements as well.
