Other von von ANKE
Founded in 1888 as a small sawmill in Andelfingen, Anton Kessel GmbH – known as Anke – has grown into a major company that manufactures innovative products made from beech wood and sheet steel. In the early 1950s, the first simple workbenches made of solid wood were produced. The workbench was born and has since been manufactured in countless variations and large quantities.
Originally, workbenches were made entirely of solid wood. In the 1970s, the company began developing its own sheet steel production, eventually leading to the creation of the first steel workbench. The wood used comes exclusively from certified forestry and is sourced from the company's immediate surroundings. This approach protects the environment and ensures sustainable production. Anke’s workbenches and work tables are robust and of high quality. Top quality means that the wooden tops are extremely durable and, thanks to the unique profile geometry, more stable than models from other manufacturers.
A typical workbench is equipped with 100% full-extension drawers and usually features a solid wood top. The original workbench from the 1950s no longer exists. Today, universal workstations are primarily in use across many different sectors. With a wide product range, you can tailor your furniture setup for workshops, schools, or installations. Popular mobile drawer units can be easily moved and used wherever needed. Due to their high customizability, every Anke workbench is one of a kind. In industry, trades, and schools, Anke products enjoy an excellent reputation thanks to their high-quality workmanship (“Made in Germany”) and broad product range – from workbenches and workshop trolleys to comprehensive accessories. These products are designed for various applications and are suited to individual needs. In addition to standard models, special requirements – such as heavy-duty applications – can also be taken into account.
