Jackets von von FHB
Fritz Höhne founded the original company Höhne & Mischke in East Westphalia in 1947. The brand name FHB was created from the founder’s initials and the production location, Bielefeld. Today, FHB is the global number one when it comes to traditional craftsman clothing.
Trousers, vests, jackets, and other garments worn daily by traditional carpenters, roofers, masons, or stonemasons make up the FHB product range. FHB original GmbH & Co. KG is one of the last companies still successfully producing clothing in Germany. From the initial idea to sewing and ironing, FHB manufactures everything itself – entirely in Germany.
Guild clothing has cult status. It is neither a trend nor fashion, but rather an expression of a growing movement that values sustainability over modernity. It's no longer limited to professions traditionally wearing English leather or genuine Trenker cord. Today, it's worn by shipbuilders in Norway, shipyard workers in Denmark, or simply people who think guild clothing is cool and love FHB products.
The workwear collection is designed to be flexible, functional, and comfortable. Eight colors in over 30 trouser sizes, six different trouser models, polo shirts, sweaters, work and functional jackets, softshells, and winter jackets: a wide variety for all professions, all tasks, and all weather – extremely flexible and without extra charges for larger sizes.
Hardly any garment is as important as workwear. It is usually worn more than 40 hours per week and serves functions such as safety or visibility. Besides solid manufacturing and convincing functionality, base materials and components are essential. To ensure suitable quality, materials must be durable and long-lasting. FHB uses YKK for zippers, Amann for thread, and fabric from Kindermann in Ibbenbüren or Kettelhack in Rheine. The quality of FHB clothing is ensured through careful craftsmanship and thoughtful material selection.
